
Dr. Siddiq Ahmed
The Founder of The Wise Thought Foundation
Dr. Siddiq Ahmed is the founder of The Wise Thought Foundation and Assistant professor of Special Education at Arabian Gulf University. He has a Ph.D. in Special Education with a concentration in Autism and Behavior Disorders. He worked as a teacher in public and private schools for more than 16 years, 10 of them in teaching students with special needs and five years as supervisor and co-administrator. He received four master’s degrees in the following area: Cognitive, Behavior, and Physical/Health Disabilities, Professional Special Education, Educational Administration, Applied linguistics in the Arabic Language. His area of expertise is Autism and Behavior Disorders and teaching Arabic for non-Arabic speakers. His research interests include positive behavior supports, peer-mediated intervention for individuals with special needs, services, and interventions, supports for individuals with autism in developing countries.
He provides consultation in English and Arabic languages in the areas of:
- Evidence-Based Practices to teach an individual with Learning and Developmental Disabilities

Dr. Morgan Chitiyo

Dr. Morgan Chitiyo is Department Chair and Professor of Special Education at North Carolina University in Greensboro. He is also associate editor of the Journal of International Special Needs Education, and former editor of the Journal of the International Association of Special Education and African Journal of Special and Inclusive Education. His research interests include positive behavior supports, autism, and special education professional development for schoolteachers. Through his work on special education teacher preparation and program development, he has contributed significantly to the development of special education internationally. He has received several awards for his outstanding contributions in teaching, research, and service.

Dr. Abdul Ghani Al-Hattami

Dr. Abdul Ghani Al-Hattami is an assistant professor at Bahrain Teachers College of the University of Bahrain. He is a Fellow (FHEA) of Advance HE, Higher Education Academy, United Kingdom. He earned his doctoral degree in Educational Psychology (measurement, statistics, and research design) from the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He published over 50 research papers in international journals and received many awards, such as the First place Award in the category of sports medicine research, Excellence Teaching Award, Best Presentation Award, and Fulbright Scholarship. His research interests include the application of statistical analyses on educational and social problems; measurement, and psychometrics, including instrument development and validation, computer adaptive testing, and the applications to Item Response Theory (IRT). In addition. His expertise includes: Analyzing and interpreting research data and generating various reports using Statistical packages programs like SPSS, AMOS, SAS, Win Steps, and Iteman 4, and Constructing, developing, and validating instruments and tests, reviewing and evaluating research papers/theses/dissertations.

- how to build data collection instruments
- how to choose the appropriate statistical tools to analyze your research data
- how to interpret your statistical results

Dr. Maryam Alakhzami, Ph.D., BCBA

Dr. Maryam is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). She has 17 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism (with 9 years of experience in a senior position).
She has completed her Doctorate in Special Education/Autism at Duquesne University, USA. She conducted many presentations on professional development (staff training), parent training, and undergraduate and graduate students. In addition, She has published articles in peer-reviewed journals on topics related to special education. She is skilled in collaborating with diverse teams to meet educational objectives. She has experience in online, in-person, or hybrid forms of instruction. She is a known leader, mentor, and subject matter expert. She is an oriented and motivated academic professional with rich experience in special education
